CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Marks Birthday with Joyful Visit to School for Visually Impaired Children

Dehradun. To celebrate his birthday on Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid a heartfelt visit to the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIEPVD). He spent the day mingling with the youngsters, cutting a cake together and sharing laughter in a warm, affectionate setting.

The students were visibly thrilled to have the chief minister among them. Dhami engaged in conversation, offered encouragement, and wished each child a future illuminated by success. The institute resonated with camaraderie, love, and an uplifting spirit.

Addressing the gathering, the chief minister underscored that every child harbors unique talent and boundless potential. He stressed that nurturing these abilities requires the right opportunities, steadfast encouragement, and confidence‑building support. Dhami reminded the audience that empowering persons with disabilities is not solely a governmental duty but a shared responsibility of the entire community.

He urged the youngsters to chase their aspirations with self‑belief, perseverance, and consistent effort. Dhami highlighted that providing equal chances, dignity, and a nurturing environment is a collective obligation of society.

Spending time with the children, Dhami confessed, rejuvenates him with fresh energy and inspiration. He described their affection and radiant smiles as the most special and unforgettable gifts he could receive on his birthday.

Accompanying the chief minister were his wife, Smt. Geeta Pushkar Dhami, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, and several teachers from the institute.
